Some time ago Jon Clark, the wonderful psychedelic rock and folk musician, has asked me to make the design for his new album "One Long Skid". I really enjoyed the time we've been working on this project and I'm glad we have more stuff to do together in future.

Two days ago I went to see the play "Alice - Through the Looking-Glass" by Peter Fomenko's theater studio. It was one of the most exciting shows I've seen so far. The designers did a huge job to make the stage look like looking-glass country.

She is a person whom I sincerely admire – not only because she's talented in many many ways (paintings, DJ'ing, making clothes and more!), but cause she's so passionate about her art and it feels like she's breathing it and creating it simultaneously.

Today the world is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the man's flight to the Space. Yuri Gagarin is the hero's name. "Day of Astronautics" is a very important national holiday in Russia. Since today it's an international holiday according to the United Nations. This small inspiration pack is dedicated to the psychedelic vision of life in Space embodied in vector art.

This tutorial is dedicated to the psychedelic coloring and shaping techniques. The main instrument used in this tutorial is pen, so you can use any vector software to create such art. You’ll find some simple text effects in this tutorial as well. This tutorial is for intermediate Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop users. The time needed to accomplish all the steps depends on your skills and may take from an hour up to three.

This week freebie is the psychedelic vector elements pack.
It can help you to design psychedelic party posters and flyers or any other trance-related art.

The set contains a variety of colorful and trippy objects: skulls, flowers, eyes and other shapes. Some of them are organized in groups to create a border for an image. You can adjust their position to suite the desired dimensions.
